Ann Curry
Ann Curry is an American photographer and journalist who has been a reporter for over 45 years focusing on the suffering of people in conflict zones as well as natural disasters. Curry was a reporter for the wars that raged in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo, and Central African Republic. Ann Curry, born November 19 1956 (Agana), is an American journalist who served as a television news anchor. Curry's reporting was notable for its coverage of humanitarian crisis that occurred in war-torn countries as well as natural disasters. Curry's father was a sailor with the U.S. Navy and her mother was Japanese. In the aftermath of World War II, her parents came together while her father was serving in Japan. Her father was a member of the military, and she had to move around a lot. Curry completed her high school studies in Ashland Oregon. Curry graduated from high school in 1978 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at the University of Oregon.
